RHWC Committee Position Descriptions

Decorations

  • Works with Program Director regarding Program for the Month

  • Works with VP Hospitality – to determine how many tables

  • Evaluates the time of month to coordinate program with season

  • Works with Treasurer to determine amount of money for each month decorations

  • Purchases as needed

  • Coordinates with others on Committee to set up the room accordingly

Parliamentarian

  • Ensures each meetings meet the requirement of “Parliamentarian Procedure”

  • Board Meetings – Minutes should be approved

  • Monthly Meetings

    • March – present to membership the Nominating Committee – Vote

    • April – present the new board

    • May – vote on the new board

  • Any changes to the By-Laws – provide to membership to review and then a vote is required.

Phone Caller

  • VP of Hospitality will advise those members who need personal calls due to inability to respond to email or Constant Contact

Sunshine

  • Send Get Well/Sympathy cards to any member or family member in need

  • Any Senior who has not attended an event in a while, do a “wellness” check

Website

  • Keep the RH Women’s Club website current. Change first page with each season. Monthly, update meeting announcement on front page

  • Keep membership aware via Facebook, answer or forward questions to the appropriate board member. Post meeting announcements, photos of interest groups, etc.

Greeter 50/50

  • Sell 50/50 tickets at each meeting and event. Close off at start of each meeting and advise President of the amount to be split. Furnish bowl for tickets as purchased.
