There is a wide range of special group activities available to members of the RH Women’s Club. Enjoy the fun and get to know people who share your interests! If you missed the yearly kick-off Sip and Sign-up event, interest groups with open spots will be available for sign up at the luncheon. Beginner Bridge Lessons– Learn to play bridge. Meet Tuesdays 3:30-5:30PM at RHCC. Session is 8 lessons @$10 pp per lesson.

Intermediate Bridge Lessons– Grow your bridge skills beyond beginner skills. Meet Tuesdays 1:30-3:30PM at RHCC. Session is 4 lessons for $80 total.

Party Bridge – Fun party bridge played the fourth Wednesday of the month at 2:00PM at RHCC. First-time players pay a $3 one-time supply fee. $2 for prize money each time playing.

Couples Bridge (Beyond Beginner) – Couples bridge played the first Thursday of the month at (time TBD) at RHCC. To be in this group, you must know how to play. Partners can be male or female and can be of different levels. Limited teaching may be provided to help play.

Book Club: Potpourri Readers - Enjoy a new book and engage in lively group discussions about what you have just read. Group will meet the first Thursday of the month at 2:30PM at the Lake Wylie Library. One-time fee of $5 for library donation. 2025-2026 Book List

Drink of the Month Club – (TENTATIVE- PENDING LEADER IDENTIFICATION) Enjoy a mixed cocktail selected by that month’s hostess while socializing with friends. Members meet the second Thursday of the month from 4:30-6:00PM. Members contribute $5 and bring an appetizer to share.

Exploring Your Creative Self - If you have a desire to explore, deepen or unlock your inner creativity, NOW is the time. Using The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron, as a guidebook, you will read, journal regularly and go on two artistic outings each month by YOURSELF. We will meet once a month to share the process, inspire each other and have some creative fun! Absolutely no prior artistic ability is necessary; only a willingness to be playful, open and see what comes up. Maximum – 12 participants. Cost: $22 for The Artist’s Way workbook

Giveback Gals - Join "grateful women" to give back time and talent to others. Chairperson selects several community endeavors to help others such as filling Christmas Stockings for needy children, organizing a used and free Jewelry Boutique to be held at a local assisted living residence, creating Valentine Favors for Seniors, etc. You will enjoy any or all volunteer projects.

Happy Feet Hiking Club – Enjoy 2-4 mile walks on nearby hiking trails (easy to moderate difficulty) with family/friends welcome to join. Various Sundays and Thursdays at noon October through May (No hike in Nov). Different location monthly with detailed start location and parking sent via email along with inclement weather announcements or delays. (Note: Some hikes may have a nominal parking fee)

iPhone Photography Group - Learn to take better pictures with your iPhone by learning many features of your phone’s camera and editing options.   As well, learn basic photography best practices.    Goal is to learn with discussion, exploration and practice during each session.  Then, individually practice thereafter.  Teaching will focus on the iPhone’s photo, video and editing capabilities. Course is 4 introductory/practice sessions that meet on a Monday at Jen Webber’s home (outside of River Hills). Classes limited to 15 people. (Note: if up to 25 people sign up, Jen will hold two sessions.) Cost is $20 for full course.

River Hills Ramblers – Members enjoy day and occasional overnight trips to places of interest all within driving distance. No meetings. Dates and times vary by activity. Joining fee $10 per person.

Rummikub - This game incorporates elements of rummy using both strategy and luck. Participants play tiles in sets and runs to get rid of their tiles. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome. Meetings will be on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:00PM at RHCC.

Spades: Beginners - Enjoy this trick-taking card game where spades are always the trump suit. Meet to play on the fourth Thursday of the month @ 1:30PM in the Cove Room. The first 12  people  to respond  will play.   Partners will be assigned and an even number of players is required.
